Position Summary or Faculty Qualifications

Saint Joseph’s University’s Art Department invites applications for an adjunct instructor in 3D Studio Art. Courses include introductory levels of ceramics and sculpture on an “as needed” basis. Responsibilities also include assisting in all aspects of the ceramics and sculpture studios. In addition to class time, one office hour per class is required. Classes meet once a week. Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach introductory levels of ceramics and/or sculpture. Hold one office hour per week per class. Assist in all aspects of the ceramics and sculpture studios.

Secondary Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:

MFA in Fine Arts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous collegiate teaching experience.

Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:

May require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials.
