Position Summary or Faculty Qualifications

The Department of Music, Theatre & Film at Saint Joseph’s University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor in Voice to teach private voice lessons.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include providing private voice lessons to Music majors, Musical Theatre majors and non-majors; participation in vocal juries; and organization of end-of-semester studio recital. This is a part-time faculty position of up to 8 hours weekly per academic semester.

Secondary Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:

Required qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Music.
Evidence of successful teaching experience in studio voice at the college level.
Demonstrated experience as a performer.

Preferred Qualifications:

DMA in voice and experience teaching voice in a liberal arts college setting.
