Position Summary or Faculty Qualifications

Saint Joseph’s University’s Department of Digital Media and Communication has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach our Web Design courses. The course is an introductory level, designed to teach students with no prior knowledge the basics of HTML5 and CSS3. Professionals with experience and a passion for teaching web design will be given preference. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Teaching of an assigned course or courses as determined by department chair
- Preparation of materials
- Providing support and guidance to students
- Reporting grades

- Previous teaching experience
- Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling
